I spent the better part of the day looking at houses, and I can only take one thing away – sometimes you’re better off just staying home. I saw three properties today, two were pretty nice and one was like “OH MY GOSH WOW!” It was brand new, two-storey house for only $135 000, which is dirt cheap. I really liked that house and want that one, but of course we aren’t close to buying anything right now. It just seems incredibly unfair to have to miss out on such a great deal, so I’m hoping that it might still work out but I know it’s probably not likely. One of the problems with it is that is it a little bit farther away from both of our jobs. I guess we’re probably going to be on the hunt for awhile longer. If this one doesn’t happen, I think I’m going to stay away from house-hunting for another 5 months. It just hurts too much!

If you’re not even close to buying a house right now, why are you house hunting? I agree; wait until you’re in the market, then when you come across a great deal, you can snatch it! Seeing gorgeous houses that you can’t have right now must be very painful. Very very.
