I was just on my way to meet Mike for the first time when I wrote this:

But here I am, ready to take off to Halifax, spend the night in the Holiday Inn, and then fly to Texas in the morning.

It was a pretty happy time, that’s for sure! It’s always good to remember that summer, it was wonderful. Last summer was wonderful too, but nice beautiful beaches were missing. Oh well. I would say “at least I didn’t get sick!” but I had surgery, so you just can’t win.
