Today was somewhat eventful. I took Alley (my adorable cat) to the vet this morning, for a checkup and a couple shots. She has her rabies shot now, so she can travel over the border at will. I hope anyways. I had to take a taxi down because Alley is not a fun traveller and besides she is heavy when she’s in the carrier and trying to get out. I found out that they do indeed give out kitty sedatives, so that will be a welcome thing next time I have to bring her home to Yarmouth. But yeah, clean bill of health for her (and best of all — no fleas!) and boy was she happy to get back to the apartment! She hates travelling and strange places where people poke sharp things at you (who can blame her), so she was happily running around the apartment upon arrival. She even took a little nap with me, so I know she still loves me! :D

Not really any farther on anything. School, wedding, blah. I managed to complete one assignment over the weekend, and work on a bunch of others. Sometimes it feels like all I do is homework or school reading, but yet it doesn’t seem to go anywhere. I’ll feel better once I have my Spanish course finished, something out of the way that I won’t need to worry about. I haven’t received my mark (or GRADE you rotten Americans) yet for the last exam I wrote (or TOOK :P), and I’m kinda getting antsy to get that back.

Tonight, I’m heading out with my roommate and our neighbors for cheapo spaghetti night at Joe’s downtown, so that should be fun, we’re going out around 8pm. Still no idea when mom’s car is going to be fixed, it’s still up here in King’s County somewhere, kicking around and rueing the day that it hit that unfortunate (albeit obese) raccoon. So I guess I’ll post again when I get an update on something. Stay cool!
