Last night and this morning, Alley was acting very strange, all curled into a ball, sleeping under my desk. Not out visiting when people were over, and even flinching when I pet her. When she did move, she was hobbling. I was pretty worried when this was still going on this morning, and I called the vet. Well apparently some kitties get reactions to certain shots, and mine is one of them. (One in 100 they said, what are the chances?) So she got another shot to alleviate the pain, and now she’s sleeping it off under my desk again, but at least now she’s stretched out and not breathing so heavily. He said that by late afternoon she should be back to her old self. :D

Status update: she’s walking around and acting normal, still a little bit quiet, but she happily accepted the treat I bought her and has already tried to break into her new bag of Purina Cat Chow.
