I thought I might start keeping people updated on the wedding planning process if they were interested, so here’s my first go of it. So far, I’ve only planned a very miniscule amount, but these things are long, arduous processes, so I’m not really in any hurry to plan the entire thing in one month!

This is one of the dresses that I’ve looked at. So far, it’s one of my favorites, but I’m really going to have to keep looking. I also like this one. I’m pretty much looking for something in those styles. Nice and pretty, but not too poofy or crazy.

We still don’t have a location. I looked at this place and this place, but so far it’s not looking like either are going to work out. We might have to settle for a church in Yarmouth and then maybe have the reception either at my parent’s house (to save money) or at the Rodd Grand Hotel if it’s affordable.

I’d like to have the rehearsal dinner at the Grand Hotel too, I read in their banquet menu something about all you can eat mussels, which sold me on that. Not to mention there aren’t that many classy restaurants around there.

My wedding party has been picked out, I’m just waiting for Mike to finish up his. I decided my bridesmaids would wear navy blue, but as for specific styles, I might have to wait and see what looks best when we go dress shopping! My maid of honor’s dress is going to look slightly different from the two bridesmaids, but we haven’t figured out how yet.

I haven’t thought too much about the rest of the plans, but I thinking that I might have daisies in my flower arrangement. Maybe a few different colors of daisies. :D Blue and white and maybe even yellow. That would be pretty.

For now, I’ve registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and WalMart. I haven’t decided if I’m going to register somewheres else yet or not.

Oh, and if anyone didn’t know yet, the date is June 3rd, 2006!
