Well, I had a good visit with my mom this weekend. She came up and we ended up watching all three Harry Potter movies since she hadn’t seen them. Of course, she had no idea what was going on because the books really explain the bulk of that. The movies are just a way to bring the highlights of the book to life. But yeah, we went to Pizza Delight (yay!) and Walmart, bought some things that I needed in the apartment. I finally have a trash can in my room! Huzzah!

Also have lots of food in the apartment which is super nice. I won’t be starving! I still have those GCs from Sobeys/AirMiles that are coming in. 80$ worth! Should keep me fed until I leave here for the States. Speaking of the States, my flight hasn’t even been reserved yet! I hope that gets sorted out soon, I like knowing that I’m on my way out of here. :D

It’s hard to believe that it’s already nearing the end of the semester. I hope that it doesn’t snow too much more — today IS the first day of spring! (Or is it tomorrow? Soon, at any rate.) I’m just impatient for warmer weather. But yeah, only 1 1/2 months left of school, and really only 26 days left until classes are over (including the weekends! — only 19 days left of class!). However, that means that it’s getting closer to crunch time. Soon, I’ll be pencilling into my planner all my final projects and exams, and hurrying around trying to finish everything in time. I’m hoping to finish my final tech project before classes are done so that it’s one less thing to worry about. I still have to mix it into 5.1 (ooh, surround sound!) but recording the parts is the biggest concern at the moment. Tonight I’m hoping to get the piano, drums, and possibly some vocals and random percussion down. Then I have to get the guitar and bass part. So much to do in 1 month! At least I have one less job to worry about, that gives me much more time to be flexible with getting everything done around other people’s schedules! Not to mention some key relaxation time. Ah, the life of a student!

My schedule for next year still isn’t completely set in stone. I’m doing an art minor, so hopefully that will bring up my GPA and not to mention be really creative which is always a plus, and I’m hoping that it will be easy. I cannot draw very well, so maybe it will teach me some new things. I need to replace a class that’s not being offered this year (silly people!) and I still have no idea how to go about doing that. I’ll somehow figure it all out — I just hope that I can graduate!
