I don’t have all that much to say these days, and that’s probably why the blogs have been lacking. A few times I opened up this window and just kind of left it for awhile. Even now, I’m not really sure what I want to say, just that I haven’t updated in awhile and I should probably write something. Maybe just an all around update would be good.

School:
Well, school is school, what can I say? I’ve been making a sincere effort to do better this semester. My GPA was brought down to 3.01 from 3.3, even though my goal has always been 3.5. If I could get it back up to a 3.3 then I would be pleased. I find that writing things down in the Outlook Tasklist is really helping organize what needs to be done and when. I haven’t missed too much class (yesterday was a friggin’ storm and I was NOT going out in it), and I’ve done all my assignments thus far. I’m hoping to keep this trend going and not miss too much class. I’m also going to make an appointment to find out where I stand for being able to graduate next Spring. It would be very awesome to be able to graduate in the spring of 2006. If need be, I can probably take some distance eduation courses and still spend the summer in Texas with Mike, which I would love. I hate being apart and it would be terrible to have to be apart when we don’t really have to.

Work:
Not much has changed here. I think I’m due for some sort of employee assessment soon (after six months of working there) and possibly a pay increase? That would be nice, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I have a shift today even though I’d like to stay in and actually do some homework, but I can do it tomorrow night after another shift. I’ve been feeling a lot more comfortable working there, too. I guess it just took some time to get used to it, but I managed. I’m not afraid to ask for help and it gets me through it.

Roommate:
Things seem to be great in that area. I get the apartment to myself quite often which I kind of like, and when she’s around it’s still fun. It seems that the sharing of household chores has been more equally distributed and stuff, so hopefully things continue this way for awhile. I’ve got no complaints on that end.

Cat:
Alley’s doing great, and getting cuter all the time! She’s been less annoying lately and hasn’t meowed as much and certainly not at 6am anymore. Although I did spot a flea on her the other day… grr.

February break:
I’m going to Texas!! I’m leaving on February 18th and returning on Monday the 28th. I’m so excited! I think that we’re going to take a weekend into San Antonio so I’ll definitely be bringing my camera along and seeing cool things. There a store that I have to go to, they have the cutest little pink plaid miniskirt. It doesn’t sound cute, but it is! I think the name of the store is Aeropostale. Anyways, the skirt is on sale for freakin’ 10$ so I’m sold.

I guess that’s all the areas that I can think of for now. I hope this was a good reasonable update for anyone that was wondering what was going on and how things were. Adios for now!
