2004: A Review Quiz
A quiz I borrowed from Lyssa’s blog [www.lyssarae.meags.net].
1. What did you do in 2004 that you’d never done before? Quit my job and ran off to meet someone I’d met on the internet.
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I didn’t make one last year, but this year I resolved to do better in classes.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? No.
4. Did anyone close to you die? No.
5. What countries did you visit? the US, Mexico, Honduras and Belize.
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? an iPod. Hehe. Just kidding. Uhhh, I don’t know, a certain piece of jewelry maybe.
7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Seeing Mike for the first time. *happy sighs*
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Breaking up with Joel in February.
9. What was your biggest failure? Really sucking in classes last semester.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? a few bruises and a twisted ankle. Oh yeah and that horrible illness from Mexico!
11. What was the best thing you bought? Oh geez, I can’t remember. Moulin Rouge on DVD maybe?
14. Where did most of your money go? School. And apartment costs.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Going to see Mike and him coming here.
16. What song will always remind you of 2004? “You Are The Love Of My Life” Michael W. Smith & Jim Brickman.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
Happier or sadder? happier
Older or wiser? wiser (I’m with Mike, aren’t I?)
Thinner or fatter? fatter :(
Richer or poorer? richer, but not by much
18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Studying.
19. What do you wish you’d done less of? Whining.
20. How will you be spending Christmas? With Mike :D
22. Did you fall in love in 2004? Yes I did.
24. What was your favorite TV program? Don’t watch TV but acquired lots of Dawson’s Creek on DVD.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Nope.
26. What was the best book you read? the Harry Potter series of course!
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Michael Buble!
28. What did you want and get? True love (I know, I know, *gag*)
29. What did you want and not get? Good grades :(
30. What was your favorite film of this year? Does Lost In Translation count? I only watched it in 2004.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 21 and it was miserable. See previous blog.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If I had spent more of it in Texas with Mike.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? Sometimes girlie, sometimes slobby.
34. What kept you sane? Mike.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? John Mayer *swoons*
36. What political issue stirred you the most? None.
37. Who did you miss? Mike :(
38. Who was the best new person you met? Mike! :D
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: That I can be happy in a relationship and I don’t have to settle for someone I’m not 100% happy with.
