Last Saturday + Where I’ve Been
Well, no, I haven’t quite disappeared off the face of the earth. Although sometimes it may feel that way. I’ve been so swamped in schoolwork after being sick and taking almost a whole week off classes. So far I’ve only missed one assignment and one quiz, so that’s not TOO bad. I’m trying to keep my head above water, but it’s hard when I need to relax too. I’ve been trying to take out some time for ME. Been going for walks in the woods nearby, took that Halifax trip on Saturday, watched a few movies. Went out for tea/hot chocolate with a friend I hadn’t seen in way too long. I’ve been finding that this time off from the internet has been doing me a world of good, and I wanted to thank everyone that left nice, supportive comments in previous blog entries.
If you came here looking for pictures, those are just around the bend!!
Well, here are some random pictures of the set up they had going on there. The first thing they had were “extreme” bikers. They weren’t that extreme. I don’t really know what order these pics are in but here’s a lot of assorted band pictures. Plus a few more. Not sure which bands are who — the ones with a guy in a yellow shirt are Jars of Clay, the one with the blad lead singer is Tree 63 and the rest I couldn’t tell you!
This was the sign language interpreter, I thought it was kinda cool.
For an idea of how many people were there these might give you a clue.
And last but not least, a friggin’ cute picture of Alley. Hey I couldn’t resist!!

Awww. I’m still amused you named your cat Alley. AWWWWW. Also, I’m jealous you got to see Jars of Clay. Go you! I think I need to take an online sabbatical as well. I’m glad you’re feeling better and life’s not too rough.
