Being out of work is incredibly boring. No two ways around it, I wish I were working right now. Not only do I have no money but I’m bored, and I can’t remedy that by going to see a movie on my current no funds budget. Not to say I have nothing to do at the moment. I could browse through the THorum if my computer wasn’t on the verge of busting any second. I could finish up those cross stitches for my aunt. I could put a movie in the DVD player. I could finish packing. Nintendo. Roll change. Scrapbooking. Reading. But do I want to do any of that? No. Knowing I have tons of time for all of that because my time doesn’t need to be shared with work makes me incredibly lazy.

Although I think that after I finish this up, I might just go offline and start going through what I want and don’t want at the apartment. Then after that I might go through what classes I want to register for in a week. The key word here is might. And when Mike gets home from class, most of that might go out the window in favor of talking to him.

Yesterday, however, I did go up to the apartment for the first time. I took some pictures but since this thing is missing USB goodness it may be awhile before those get posted. I don’t think anyone believes me anymore that I’m putting the cruise pictures up anymore. I haven’t even finished the pages. Because they’re stuck inside Mike’s laptop and I still haven’t gotten my power cord. 2 day shipping should not take 7 days. Even after the rotten civic holiday.

ANYWAYS. The apartment was really nice. It’s a bit small, but that’s fine. I moved in a bunch of the kitchen stuff, and put some water in my Brita Filter already. We have a living room, a pantry, a kitchen, a bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. One is significantly smaller, so we’ll have to decide who gets the bigger one. It was recently all cleaned out for us, so all we have to do is move in our things and decorate. If my bureau wasn’t so huge, I wouldn’t be as worried, but as it is, I think I might end up leaving the desk behind. We’ll have to see how much I can squash in there without having no walking around room.

Regardless, I’m pretty excited about moving up there this weekend! Just need to pick up some groceries and things and then I’m all set! :) I just need so find someone to help us with the couch….
