Well, I’m finally here, been here for the past 5 or 6 days and I’ve managed to unpack everything besides two boxes and my clothes (no dresser as of late) and get my phone and internet hooked up, look around for a job and make slight modifications to my website. Also, I’m on the fourth Harry Potter book after starting them this Sunday. I think this one will take more than a few days to read, it’s around 600 pages and I’m only on chapter 11. Getting the phone and the net kinda makes it difficult to read for 5 hours at a time without being tempted to go online or chat. I’ve been keeping the place fairly clean. I have a pile of dirty dishes at the moment, but I plan to take care of them tonight after I make myself some supper. Today is the first day that I haven’t gone downtown for anything, I pretty much stuck to the apartment today. Sometimes, I’m going to go down and investigate my mailbox and see if they stuck the new key in it yet.

Only a few more days left until Mike gets down here! Then I assume I pretty much will be MIA so get in your talk time with me then. I have a phone number, so give me a holler via email or msn if you want it and I haven’t given it to you yet. It’s nice to be connected to the world again.

The job search is coming along slowly. I tried contacting Joes about 3 or for times but kept missing the person I was supposed to talk to, so I gave up and walked into Paddy’s. First time there, I ended up talking to the person in charge of hiring the kitchen staff and she told me she needed a dishwasher. I have three years experience so she seemed keen on maybe hiring me. I might give her a follow up call tomorrow to see if she’s interested and to let her know I’ll be out of town for a week because of the stupid doctor’s. I have a follow-up appointment with the specialist on Tuesday. I stopped talking the antibiotic for a few days now, I’m still hanging in there for now.

Tomorrow, Amber’s coming over for supper, and then Saturday morning Mom gets here! And then Sunday afternoon we pick up Mike and I’ll be 100% happy! For now I’m trying to get updated with all the things I follow online, coming along slowly, but I got all of my comics read up to date. However, for now my stomach and the Harry Potter book seem to be calling to me, so I’ll leave off here for now and hope to hear from you guys. Comments, forum posts, emails, IMs: all are welcome!
